The scrolls above contain either the single Coat of Arms for a surname in portrait style, or a double Coat of Arms for 2 different surnames in landscape. The scrolls include the Coat of Arms armory they were taken from (Burke's General Armory or Rietstap's Armorial General), plus the surname's motto and meaning underneath the Coat of Arms if these details are known. Otherwise, they are not included.
These are printed on high quality (glossy photo quality) paper and are 8x10 inches (203mm x 253mm) in size. The red border is a light red in colour and the paper area is 'parchment effect' printing. These are supplied ready for framing, and their standard 8x10 printed size will allow them to be framed with a standard-sized 'swept frame' or any other 8x10 picture frame.
These scrolls include a 5mm white border around the outside. This is so that when framed, none of the red-border detail is hidden underneath the picture frame. Or, if framed with a mount, none of the red-border needs to be hidden.
