Coat of Arms Styles: Please note the differences in the Red and Blue Coat of Arms styles 1 and 2 above.
With style 1, the text is separated on the left side with the image on the right side. With style 2, the text is wrapped around left and bottom side of the Coat of Arms image. Also, with style 2, the Coat of Arms source (Burke's or Rietstap's) is included within the main body of text instead of underneath the image.
* Plain Parchment Paper: If you order a name scroll with a parchment paper background, this will be pure parchment paper if the scroll is text only (i.e. family origins, first names, surnames, heraldry, including Egyptian hieroglyphics scrolls). If the scroll contains images (i.e. Coat of Arms or our Red Border Parchment paper) then the paper will be high quality white (photo quality) paper printed with a parchment paper effect. This will look identical to pure parchment paper.
The reason for this is because images, and some of our scroll paper will often contain areas of white in them. Because printers are unable to print 'white ink' they rely on the white background for white and very light areas, so this is why white paper is used with a parchment effect printed on them.
